Resting

Twenty-four hours ago, I couldn't get comfortable. The pain in my gut wouldn't let me sit still. It was my second trip to the ER that night/morning? and the edict fell. That gall bladder has to come out.

Out it came a few hours later. So,if this post sounds a little disjointed and sloppy, you can blame it on the drugs.

I just needed to say today I am thankful for a close hospital and kind nurses. I'm thankful for a doctor who crammed me in his already busy schedule, over his noon hour no less, just so I could feel better. I'm thankful for thoughtful friends, parents who drop everything to help, kids who roll with the punches and my sweet husband whose presence makes everything better.

In the words of a dear friend, "This is good for you to let others worry and care for you... see that you are loved deeply..." Ah, indeed I am and I am humbled.

Thank You, Lord.

Oh Tami!

I'm so sorry to read you've been through this. But so happy to hear you are being taken care of.

Wow, you must of been in some real pain, yikes...

Lord I pray you completely heal Tami. Send friends and family to be there for her. Let her feel your presence during this time of rest. Cover her with your love.

Praying for your recovery♥

Well, I hope you feel better now. Aren't you glad we live in an era where that type of operation is routine and that we have such skilled and caring doctors? I'm glad you're doing ok and will pray for a quick recovery.

Having felt the pain and been through the same procedure, there is no wonder in my mind why you posted with THANKS God's provision for medical care. What I do wonder is how in the WORLD you can think clearly enough to share it all! :) So glad to hear you are feeling better and do let others have the privilege of serving you. (besides.....you only have your gall bladder removed once ---Milk it!!) :)!

Oh.my.word, Tami. That is just horrible that you had your gall bladder taking out. I so agree with you - what a great thing that you had a doctor who let everything go so you feel better.
I am glad that your family and friend have been rolling with the 'punches' as you put it.

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us, despite that you just had surgery.

Blessings to you and yours...

Tami: Glad to hear that a diagnosis was made and the problem taken care of quickly. Now you just need to focus on taking care of yourself & regaining your strength. It will return and, in the meantime, let your family take care of you, the house, etc. It will help them to appreciate you more & vice versa.

Blessings,

HS
