Living the Miracle

1st Monday Every Month at Chrysalis

It's still a miracle

after four pregnancies,
after seeing numbers up and down the scale,
after witnessing the good, the bad, and the very ugly,

it's still a miracle he looks my way with desire. I am still awed to find respite in his arms, to be who I am in his presence and feel completely at home.

It's still a miracle to be loved.

It's proof that an Almighty God heard the heart cries of a shy, fat girl, sustained her until she was ready and then blessed her for a lifetime.

How could I ever say there is no God?

Oh Wow, how precious and sincere are your words! I pray that all of our husbands continue to look at us the way he always did, and that God sustains us and our marriages for a lifetime. I know that for me, I am truly blessed. Hubby thinks that I am God's greatest gift to him outside of his salvation. He tells me he loves my inside and outside. I really am truly blessed and I thank God for him. Many blessings to you. Great post.

Funny, I never saw you as a shy fat girl. I remember a friend who I laughed and shared with, God's spirit always in your heart.
