A Parasailing Adventure

Kevin and I had an amazing time on our 25th anniversary cruise. Since many of you asked, I thought I might show you a few pictures from our favorite activity. When our ship docked at Grand Cayman, we went on a parasailing excursion.

Here we are on the boat right before the big adventure is to take place.

We're strapped to the parachute and sit on the back of the boat.

Slowly the rope is let out and we're lifted slightly.

Soon we're floating upward.

We had a blast from the get go. Can you tell?

Hello, down there!

Get a load of this scenery. It is so perfect, Kevin thought people would never believe us and think we photoshopped ourselves in!

We edge up higher and higher.

Look at the crystal clear water! Even from 400 feet above it, we can see the bottom.

So peaceful. So incredibly awesome!

It is absolutely breathtaking from above.

As the rope is winched back in, the boat driver likes to give the parasailers a little dip in the water. Ours was a "medium" one, meaning we were dunked to about our waists.

After our dip, we floated back to the boat, lifted our feet and landed back where we started. OH MY GOODNESS! I can't tell you how much we enjoyed this. If you've never parasailed, we HIGHLY recommend it. SO MUCH FUN!

If this tripped your trigger, come back on Friday for the Glorious 25th Anniversary Extravaganza Edition of 7 Quick Takes. More pics of our trip will appear there.

Have a great day, friends!
