Who Woulda Thought?

On June 1, 2006 a blog was born.

(If you've been reading since then, you're used to this dramatic way of announcing nothing. Should I say I'm sorry? Oh brother. I make myself roll my eyes.)

Anyway . . . today's entry, 5 years, 4 months and 5 days later, is my 900th post.

900th!

I'm not sure if I should jump up and down, blow bubbles, or bury my head in a pillow and weep. Perhaps an apology is in order? Or snacks. Or a lobotomy. Hmmm.

It's been a learning process, I tell you, one that hasn't always been fun, but one that has continually humbled me. How can God take the random, sometimes inane thoughts of a middle-aged housewife in podunk Nebraska and make them useful? I don't know, but every once in a while He does. And this chicky is thankful, thankful that God brings the ideas, the energy, the motivation, thankful for people who read, thankful to be a small part of God's work.

Truly God is good. And a miracle worker.

900 posts.

Who woulda thought?

Wow you are from Nebraska -- I lived there for many, many years but am now in the Black Hills. I also started blogging in 2006 during a blizzard. So nice to ran into your blog!

Have a wonderful day!

You don't know how many times the random thoughts you post are exactly what I need to hear at that exact time. Thanks

Oh Tami,

I have been one of the many who has been blessed, whom you have called me to rethink and to ponder. We started our blog within a month of each other. What a ride it has been.

I am so richly blessed to have know you, to have you write for ours and just to see your love for Jesus lived out. Sending you a hug my friend. Love you, Lynn
