Pruning Today

"Busyness is not a spiritual gift."
From an interview with
~ Lisa Harper ~

As a sincere love offering to you and to show you how spiritually gifted I am, today I exercise self-control, take one thing off my to do list and write nothing.

Have a fantastic day!

Oh, wonderful! I laughed!

I got up this morning to a surprising weather report... "Winter Storm Warning" in effect. The kids and even the hubster have another Snow Day! So I am going to have a challenging day. Anyway, I sat down and composed my post on this topic literally surrounded by husband, kids and dog making a ruckus. So I can't promise anything brilliant!

Glad you could cross one thing off your to-do list! BOY are you gifted. :-)

Good for you!! I loved your comment on my blog too, the balance between serving and just being with God is one we all need to find. And the work of the body of Christ needs to get done, I just wish it could be more evenly spread out between believers! Sometimes it seems as if 10% of the church does 90% of the work!

As per your comment on my blog today: please know that I ardently pray for these folks. I'm not talking about folks in ministry who stumble and have to deal constantly with the stress of others opinions. I lived that. I'm speaking of wolves in sheep's clothing.

Please understand my heart, that I pray, I forgive, I move forward (though injured). My intention was not to take potshots at pastors.
